"Powell subpoena quashed..."

New York Times, 13 March 2026:

A federal judge in Washington threw a major roadblock into a criminal investigation of Jerome H. Powell, the Federal Reserve chair, quashing grand jury subpoenas issued to the central bank by federal prosecutors over renovations underway at its headquarters in Washington.

So what?
What or who is to stop Trump from simply sending U.S. Marshals to arrest Powell under an administrative warrant and shipping him to South Sudan? I'm surprised Trump hasn't done this to Leticia James already. Sure, the courts would object - I bet even Alito would find this unpalatable, but so what? Trump's DoJ seems quite happy to ignore the courts. Why shouldn't Trump send U.S. Marshals to the next Fed Open Market Committee meeting to arrest all 12 members and ship 'em off to wherever, then replace 'em with twelve of Jared Kushner's elementary school classmates with instructions to cut interest rates to 0%? Who or what would stop him?
