Much of their rhetoric suggests that they long for the Eisenhower Era, when everybody was nice to one another and Blacks weren't so uppity.

The top tax-rate was over 90% during the '50s of the last century.
Truth to tell, I'd be okay returning to these "golden years" (at least in terms of tax policy)!
Good point. It's becoming more and more clear that the majority of Tea Partiers don't actually care much about taxes at all. In fact, even they kind of admit it themselves. They're just using that as an excuse.
