Tit-for-tat: a modest proposal

For those of you not paying attention, W's DoJ screwed the pooch so blatantly that Obama's DoJ felt compelled to vacate all charges against former Senator Ted Stevens (R-AK).

The Republican response?
Alaska GOP wants Begich to resign from Senate given feds' move to drop Stevens convictions

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Republican Party on Thursday called on Democratic Sen. Mark Begich to resign in light of the now-abandoned federal convictions that had crippled his GOP opponent, Ted Stevens, in last year's election.
...
State Republican Party Chairman Randy Ruedrich said Begich should step down to allow for a special election so Alaskans could vote without the "improper influence of the corrupt Department of Justice."
In passing I note that "the corrupt Department of Justice" in question was W's DoJ!!!

That said, I'm half-inclined to grant Alaska's GOP their request... IF FLORIDA CAN DO-OVER THEIR 2000 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!!
Let's OFFICIALLY delegitimize W's reign of terror!
