CNN, 19 Oct 2008
KANDAHAR, Afghanistan (AP) -- Afghan officials say Taliban militants have killed about 30 Afghans after stopping a bus on a highway and taking the passengers hostage.
Gen. Mohammad Zahir Azimi says 31 people were killed in the attack in the Maiwand district of Kandahar province, a dangerous region just west of Kandahar city.
Azimi says six of the dead were beheaded.
Folks, we're now losing two wars - one of which is actually directly related to the 9/11 attacks.
Osama bin Laden is still a free man.
Mullah Omar is still a free man.
The Taliban are sufficiently resurgent to operate openly and brazenly within Afghanistan - stopping a bus to execute the passengers.
Stop the madness!!!
