Public service: early voting

Early voting in Bernalillo County begins tomorrow, Saturday, 18 October.

Me? Weird as it may sound, I actually enjoy standing in line with my neighbors on election day. It makes me feel both patriotic & neighborly!

But... for those of you who'd prefer to avoid the possible election-day delays, here's a list of early voting sites:
Paradise Hills Community Center, 5901 Paradise Blvd NW
Los Ranchos Villa, 6601 4th St NW, Stes A, B, & C
Coors Plaza, 3200 Coors Blvd NW, Ste A
Integrity Plaza, 1512 Wyoming Blvd NE, Stes F & G
Plaza Paseo Del Norte, 9231 Coors blvd NW, Ste R8
Siesta Hills Shopping Center, 5407 Gibson Blvd SE
Del Norte Shopping Center, 7120 Wyoming Blvd NE, Ste 16
Market Center East, 11110 Lomas Blvd NE, Ste E4
98th & Center Shopping Center, 120 98th St NW, Ste B5
Goff Plaza, 1720 Bridge Blvd SW, Ste G
Daskalos Shopping Center, 5339 & 5339A Menaul Blvd NE
Juan Tabo Plaza, 11012 Montgomery Blvd NE
CNM - South Valley Campus, 5816 Isleta Blvd SW
University of New Mexico, Student Union Building
Tijeras City Hall, 12 Camino Municipal
Note: a canvasser for Obama suggested that, if voting is electronic, "straight-ticket" voting is being discouraged. I'm guessing there is some known or suspected glitch in the machines.
It's more fun to vote candidate-by-candidate, race-by-race, anyway!!!

Have a nice day.
