This time, a Republican shill (sorry - I don't recall who) attacking Sen. Obama. BUT - not for 'palling around with terrorists'!
No, they've become more sophisticated (maybe it helped that McCain has tried to distance himself from direct attacks on Obama's character).
The dig this time? Sen. Obama's lack of experience... (to some extent this mirrors Sen. McCain's own "who is Barack Obama?" insinuations, but is tamer and more to the point.)
Experience? As I've noted previously, experience ain't all it's cracked up to be.
The extremely experienced Cheney/Rumsfeld/Wolfowitz team got us into Iraq.
W's experience as a Harvard MBA, oil-patch player, and businessman doesn't seem to have equipped him to understand Econ 101.
Tangential aside: regarding Econ 101. Yes, ideas do have consequences. Let's hope that Friedman & Greenspan - in their religious free-market advocacy - have now been discredited.
Yes - Government Regulation DOES have a role to play in a modern economy!!!
