I missed all the excitement... sigh

I worked late tonight - our quarterly "cycle" is in full swing.

When I got home, NBC had already called NH for Clinton.
I missed all the excitement.
Oh, well.

In the meantime: Congratulations, Hillary! (... oh, and: Congratulations, John!)

I've a preference, but would be happy with ANY of the Democratic candidates in November.

What would be really fun? An inconclusive first ballot at the Dem Nat'l Convention! Then we'd see some real horse-trading. (I think it unlikely, but it would be fun.)

Aside: my workgroup occasionally opens business with an "inclusion activity" - frequently a non-work-related question (e.g., "If you were a musical instrument, what would it be?") On one such occasion the question was: "When did you feel the most patriotic?" My answer? "Every election day - standing in line in the elementary school gym that is my polling place, chatting with my fellow citizens and neighbors." I've frequently thrown my vote away on meaningless third-party alternative, but I do cherish the opportunity to vote!
