Veterans have no legal right to specific types of medical care, the Bush administration argues in a lawsuit accusing the government of illegally denying mental health treatment to some troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
What is quickly becoming my standard - repetitive - response to most news:
Will any Democratic candidate seize on this for advantage against W's Republican minions?Strong on National Security? Strong on Defense? Strong supporters of our troops?
Republicans seem to care only about cutting taxes.
If the Dems lose this year, there's no hope.
[On a less partisan note: it is morally repugnant to send U.S. soldiers into battle, then deny them health care for combat-induced trauma when they return home from the war. How can representatives of W's Administration sleep at night?]
Stop the madness!
