Israeli voters cast ballots in general election
I'm not an expert on Israeli politics...
(Heck - I'm not an expert on anything I write about!)
BUT: I've spent about a year in Israel - spread over a decade - and I have Israeli friends.
So I pay attention every once in a while.
In addition - I do follow the episodic MidEast news.
What scares me today: recent news suggests that Israel's right-wing will do well in this election. These are the hard-liners. The dominant party is Likud - now led by Netanyahu. [note: Wikipedia identifies Likud as a center-right party!... which scares me even more!]
Likud's foreign policy resembles W's: military force is everything.
I weep for my Israeli friends.
