I'll proceed on the assumption that the answer is, "No".
What I'd like to hear from John M. Spratt, Jr. (chairman, House Committee on the Budget), Barney Frank (chairman, House Financial Services Committee), and Congresswoman Carolyn B.
Maloney (chair, Joint Economic Committee) & Senator Charles Schumer (vice chair, Joint Economic Committee) is a very simple question:
"What's the game plan?"Recall, way back in November, then SecTreas Paulson wrote an Op-Ed for the NYT in which he declared:
"There is no playbook for responding to turmoil we have never faced."What I'd like to see our elected officials demand of SecTreas Geithner:
"Show us the playbook!"Is there a plan???
Putting together the playbook ought to be SecTreas Geithner’s top priority.
If it’s not – if he can’t show you the plan – don’t release the $$$!
