Iraqi vote result could spark violence: US
The elections seemed to go off fairly smoothly.
There have been some troubling reports - the Iraqi security forces imposed a curfew on Anbar Province, and there've been some reports of irregularities or fraud...
... but overall, so far, so good - international monitors report that elections were fair and open.
Will Iraqi factions be able & willing to accept results that go against 'em... even if there is suspicion of some (but not massive) fraud???
I'm crossing my fingers.
